Workwear Skincare was created for people whose hands do the real work.
The company was inspired by more than 25 years of shipyard work at the Norfolk Naval Shipyard, where long days meant grease, metal dust, paint, solvents, and the grime that comes from working in one of the most demanding industrial environments in America. Growing up near the waters of the Chesapeake Bay, our family was surrounded by hardworking people—shipbuilders, mechanics, welders, contractors, and tradesmen who built their lives with their hands.
What we noticed was simple: Most skincare products weren’t designed for workers.
Many soaps were too weak to remove industrial grime, while others were so harsh they left skin dry, cracked, and damaged. Workers deserved something better—soap and skin care specifically designed for people who work with their hands every day.
That idea became Workwear Skincare.
